Thanks for everything, Steve. You changed the world for the better.
My poor little tumblr blog …
… I’ve neglected you for so long. I’m sorry, I’ve been busy and haven’t had a chance to even log into tumblr lately. I promise to update you more frequently.
My bigger worry is that, having been away from tumblr for a little while, I know I’m WAY behind on the latest internet memes; heck, I’m not sure if we, the collective internet, still hate hipsters or not, and other such matters of great importance.
Time to catch up ….
Such an amazing song from an exceptionally talented musician. Great lyrics, great music, great everything - “The Past Recedes,” from John Frusciante’s “Curtains” album.
OMG, this speaks the truth.
I can’t even count how many hours I’ve wasted on random Wikipedia link following binges.

I’ve been on a bit of a Red Hot Chili Peppers kick as of late, and every single time I hear Dosed, it rocks my world. For some reason, I can’t bore of this song.
John Frusciante singing part of the chorus is bloody awesome. He should have done lead vocals a few more times for the RHCP.
Loving this song from the Canadian indie band, Hey Rosetta.
The singer’s voice reminds me of Matthew Good a bit. In fact, I thought it was something new from Matthew Good the first time I heard it …
Must listen to other stuff from these guys …
My advice to fellow tumblr-ers … check out this really amazing tumblr belonging to a friend of mine @ http://whydontyoukill.me/ … it’s original photography done by him and it’s really bloody awesome work.
Yep.

This is great. Jobs clearly has never followed “common wisdom” when running Apple … which is exactly why Apple is so awesome.
In this week’s issue, Cult of Mac’s Leander Kahney collects “The 10 Commandments of Steve.”
More than anything else, Jobs’s genius is in managing the creative process. Here’s his playbook.

I guess I picked the wrong career path - English majors seem to have it all!

Here’s an interesting bit of music trivia I just heard on the radio today … apparently Slash hated the guitar riff in Sweet Child O’ Mine, but Axl liked it, and the rest is history.
